My Dearest Sicksmith,
It’s been far too long since I’ve most genuinely expressed myself to you. Why is that? Is it fear? Anxiety? Perhaps it’s shame.
Whatever the reason, I’m here for you. I’m here and it’s time we sat face to face. I’ve listened to you for so very long now and the time has come in which you may now hear the words I’ve been meaning to speak.
I must confess that I’ve made numerous attempts at catching your attention. I bear the scrutiny of society and feel forced to conform to their expectations which has driven me further and further from you. I’m done with that now which is why I’m offering this plea, this confession, to you.
If you’re beginning to feel a bit uneasy, do not be alarmed. That is perfectly normal. I’ve been in hiding and you weren’t expecting me to jump out at you like this. But hear me out:
Come with me to places you’ve never been. Embark on journeys far past the boundaries of your existence into realms inhabited by your most wonderful dreams, your vivid fantasies and sweet romances. Feel the the imagination of one thousand hearts and one thousand souls screaming out for affection.
Shed the chains that bind you to the dull reality you’ve been tricked into. Live in the colors, the beauties, the sounds and the tastes that you’ve never been able to feel before. The timidity that forces you into the ground is the same force that poisons your purity. The prisons of doubt are an illusion.
You’re free; I’ve arrived with the golden key.
